Betting and Game Rules
Top slots this week

General rules for all play
These rules apply to every stake placed through your Hippozino account and sit alongside our Terms & Conditions and our bonus terms. Where a game carries its own rules in its help screen, those rules also apply to that game.
- You may hold one account only. Where duplicate accounts are found, play may be voided and balances handled as set out in our Terms & Conditions.
- You must be 18 or over and the registered holder of the account. We hold a gaming licence for the games we offer and verify every account before a withdrawal is paid.
- Stakes are taken from the balance shown in the cashier at the moment a round opens, in the currency set on your account.
- Where you hold both real-money and bonus funds, the game draws on the balance indicated in the cashier for that session, and bonus funds are used in line with the terms attached to them.
- A bet is final once placed. When you confirm a stake and the round begins, it cannot be cancelled, changed or taken back, and the result stands.
Please check the stake, the lines or positions covered and the game's own rules before you confirm a round. We cannot refund a bet because it was placed at the wrong stake or in the wrong game.
Bets cannot be reversed
Selecting spin, deal or confirm places a live bet at the stake shown. If you are unsure how a game works, use any demo mode available or read the game help first.
How bets and spins are settled
Outcomes in our slots and other random-number games are produced by the game provider's random number generator. The result recorded on the game server is the definitive record of a round. If the result shown on your screen differs from the result held on the server, the server record stands.
- Each game is settled under its own rules and paytable, which you can open from the game's help or information screen at any time.
- Wins are paid at the stake in play when the round opened, subject to any maximum win shown in the game's rules.
- The theoretical return-to-player figure is shown in each game's information screen. It is a long-run average across many rounds rather than a guide to any single session.
- Where a game offers a feature, gamble or bonus-buy option, the rules for that feature are set out in the same help screen and apply in full.
| What you are looking for | Where it is shown |
|---|---|
| Bet options and how wins are formed | The game's help or information screen |
| What each symbol, line or hand pays | The paytable at your current stake |
| Stakes placed and results returned | The game history in your account |
Malfunctions, errors and interrupted rounds
A malfunction voids all pays and play. If a game, feature or jackpot does not behave as its rules describe, any affected round and any pay arising from it are void, and the stake is returned to the account balance.
Disconnections and unfinished rounds
If your connection drops mid-round, the round is held on the game server. When you next open the same game, it either resumes at the point you left it or settles automatically to the result the server has already recorded. The outcome is not affected by the disconnection.
Obvious errors
- Where a price, paytable, balance or result is shown in error, we may correct it and adjust the account to the position it would have been in.
- Play arising from a technical fault, or from a game left open in a state it should not have reached, may be voided.
- We may suspend a game while a fault is looked into, and will tell you the outcome once our checks are complete.
Bonus play, wagering and game contributions
Bonus funds, free spins and other promotional credits are played under the bonus terms published with the offer and shown in your account. Those terms set the wagering requirement, the qualifying games, the time the offer runs for and any cap on winnings.
- A maximum stake per round applies while a wagering requirement is open. Stakes above the limit shown may be voided, along with any winnings from them.
- Games contribute towards wagering at the rates shown in the bonus terms, and some games do not contribute at all.
- Where real-money and bonus balances are both held, the order in which they are used is shown in the cashier.
- Play used only to clear a requirement, such as low-risk covering of opposite positions on a table, may be treated as outside the spirit of the offer.
If you are unsure whether a game counts towards an open offer, check the bonus terms or ask our live chat team before you play.
Live casino and table games
Live tables are hosted by a dealer and run to the game rules shown in each table's help screen. Those rules cover the bets available, the payouts, the betting time and how the dealer handles the cards, dice or wheel.
- Bets must be confirmed before the betting time ends. Late bets are not accepted and are returned to your balance.
- The dealer's call on the table stands, including on misdeals, void spins, no-game rounds and chips placed in error.
- Where a round is declared void at the table, stakes on that round are returned and the table moves on.
- Side bets, seat rules and any minimum or maximum stake are set per table and shown before you take a seat.
- Table limits and the bets available may differ between tables of the same game, so check the table information before placing a stake.
The studio recording and the game server log together form the record of a live round. Where there is a question about a hand or a spin, we check both.
Queries and disputes about a round
If you think a round has not settled correctly, contact us and we will look into it. Write to support@casinohippozino.co.uk or use the live chat on the site.
- Tell us the name of the game or live table.
- Give the date and time of the round, including the time zone if you are playing from outside the United Kingdom.
- Include the round or transaction reference from your game history, together with the stake placed.
- Describe what you expected the result to be and what the game showed.
We check the server log and the game provider's record for that round. Where a correction is due, we apply it to your account and confirm it in writing. If you are not satisfied with our answer, our complaints process explains the next steps, including referral to an alternative dispute resolution provider at no cost to you.
Game rules are only part of staying in control. You can set deposit limits, take a time-out or self-exclude from your account at any time, and GamStop can block your access to licensed online operators in Great Britain. GambleAware, GamCare and the National Gambling Helpline offer free, confidential support. Our games are for players aged 18 and over.
